The #DoMore movement is about making more memories, meeting new friends, and experiencing more of life whenever you have that feeling.

We developed MyBru App to be the platform and tool to present the opportunities for people in our city to do more – a way for them to see what Cape Town has to add to their lifestyle – a way for them to be a part of something more.

After over three years of hard work by two young entrepreneurs, MyBru App has officially launched their mobile platform for Android (available on the PlayStore) and iOS (available on the AppStore) on the 27th November 2017. MyBru app is best described as providing an exciting and innovative platform for connecting brands that are looking to advertise and acquire insights on their customers with consumers that want access to an easy and quick way to find specials. MyBru app has initially been launched in Cape Town with specials under four distinct categories – food, drinks, retail, and entertainment.

“We want to give our friends, family, and people in our city the opportunity for a more adventurous and more spontaneous lifestyle. Explore your city, meet new people, find new places, enjoy great specials, and ultimately just do more,” said Kalvin Sutherland, MyBru App’s Creative Director. “It’s about the opportunity to really enjoy life, to adventure, experience, discover, and enjoy – without breaking the bank.”

The app allows users to find specials in their area, search for specific deals, or see what’s happening around them – absolutely free of charge. Users will also be able to connect with brands, see their schedules, and even request an Uber to their required destination.

Brands will have the opportunity to advertise to a wide customer base for a fraction of the cost of traditional advertising, growing brand awareness and driving sales. With integrated analytics, a growing audience, and active users, the app will change the way brands advertise during this mobile movement.

“It’s the year of the underdog – small brands changing the game. What we are really trying to do is level the playing field. MyBru App and its team are already starting to make waves on social media, and the app is starting to gain major traction on the AppStore and PlayStore, with over 200 downloads within their first 24 hours of being live. MyBru App also started trending on the PlayStore and made it into the top #10 on the South African AppStore –  both within 48 hours of launch. We are excited to see what’s coming.
